Appearance, language and formats, workspace defaults, start page, accessibility, and personal API tokens.

Personal settings live under Settings → My account. They affect only your own account, are stored per user per tenant, and never require tenant-administrator rights.

Appearance

Settings → Appearance controls theme and density.

Theme — Light, System, or Dark. Until you choose, TENSOR follows your operating system.
Density — Compact, Standard, or Comfortable. The platform default is Standard. Individual tables can additionally remember their own density; a per-table choice beats your global default on that table.

Settings → Language sets your locale and format overrides. Every field offers a blank Tenant default option that clears your override, so the resolution order is always: your setting → the tenant's setting → the platform default.

Language — English or German.
Date format — ISO (2026-08-05), short, or long.
Number format — automatic, 1,234.56, 1.234,56, or 1 234,56.
Timezone — any IANA timezone name.
Plus first day of week, hour cycle, and the language used for notifications sent to you.

Workspace defaults

Settings → Workspace holds your working defaults:

Auto-watch tickets you are assigned and auto-watch tickets you create — both on by default.
Default comment visibility — Internal or Public. The default is internal, deliberately: it means a hasty comment never leaks to a portal reporter by accident. Switching the default to Public asks you to confirm.
Default assignment group — pre-selected when you assign tickets.

Settings → Workspace → Snippets manages your personal reply snippets.

Start page

Settings → Start page picks where TENSOR lands after sign-in: Role default, the dashboard, the admin home, the team surface, or the portal home. The choice is re-checked at sign-in — if you lose the role a surface requires, TENSOR falls back to your role's default rather than showing an error.

Notifications

Settings → Notifications is described together with tenant notification routing in Notifications, because the two interact.

Out of office

Settings → Out of office declares an absence window so coverage rules can reassign your work. The keyboard sequence g then o jumps here directly.

Accessibility

Settings → My account → Accessibility:

Reduce motion — suppresses non-essential animation.
High contrast — raises contrast across the UI.
Always show keyboard focus — keeps focus rings visible even after mouse use.
Font scale — normal, large, or extra large.

Until you set them, platform defaults apply (which respect your operating system's reduced-motion signal).

Personal API tokens

Settings → API tokens issues tokens for the REST API under your own identity and permissions. Tokens expire after 30, 90, or 365 days — there is no non-expiring option. See the REST API and its OpenAPI spec for what a token can do.

Security

Settings → My account → Security shows your security activity feed — a read-only list of security-relevant events on your account, with timestamps and the affected entity.
